I have just had an e-mail through from Jaguar with details of "the last version of the F-Type" - the F-Type 75 and the F-Type R 75.
That is a bit of a shame and will no doubt be the last 2 seater Jaguar.

Reminds me I saw a lovely SVR in BRG over the weekend. Still has a lot of appeal

I got that email too. It is the end of an era. Seems the F-Type is to bow out at the end of 2023, two years before the rest of the ICE Jaguar range. Although frankly, I expect the XE and XF to be quietly killed off before 2025 too. Leaving Jaguar as a crossover / SUV only brand (E, F and I Pace). In line with three all electric models due in 2025 if you believe the rumours / hype around what happens after 2025.
Personally, as a Jag fan, I feel rather torn. One the one hand, I wish Bollocksy would just sell the brand (that he clearly either doesn't understand or can't be arsed to understand) and be done with it, allowing somebody who might be willing to invest properly in a range of sensibly priced cars to have a go. But on the other hand, I saw the new Polestar 3 SUV starts at £75k and can easily be £100k, so maybe Jag fishing in the £100k plus market is really where prices are going and I'm the one who knows nothing.
I guess only time will tell.

The most important question of all…….what the bloody hell am I going to drive after 2023 I am not sure what market would exist for an electric sports car, that class of car and the sporting GT are in decline (as far as volumes go), so I think the business case struggles. As regards the 75, I note with “ Daily Mail sad face “ that the P450 comes with the least attractive F-type wheel design that they have then decided to paint black…..

Abandon hope............... I mean, who does NOT want an overweight and overly complicated fucking monster instead of a sharp and precise motor you can punt down the road and enjoy?
I fear that the lunaticas are running the fucking assylum.

Sad times indeed. The price of 'progress'. That said, some electric cars seem pretty impressive these days, albeit with a rather different character. Hey ho.
