So the new headline sponsor of British Cycling is Shell UK.
No more cyclists bemoaning those filthy, carbon burning motorists: the re-education will ensure motor vehicles are seen as guiding lights of environmental travel and that drilling for oil is the only way to rescue the Green lifestyles life of the nation’s two wheeled eco-warrior army.
Onwards we go, because you know that two wheeled conveyance you have? I reckon we could put an engine in that…..

I'm currently in Berlin and there are a lot of those 2 wheeled things around. Many have electric motors rather than internal combustion engines, though. They even have special lanes in which to travel on most of the roads. We should try it in our cities and towns, it could catch on

Just been for a stay in Center Parcs were of course a bike is the usual means of travel (but not usual for me) - ouch - going to take my own saddle next time

Those special lanes are becoming busier by the day with the "operator-powered" versions.....
