I know he has hardly been on top form this year but he is surely good enough to get a decent seat somewhere.
The question is, where?

Destroyed Vettel in the Red Bull Was beaten by Kvyat in the Red Bull (kept his seat at Red Bull) Beat Verstappen in his first season. Beat Verstappen in his second season Got the beat down from Max the following year so moved on from Red Bull Destroyed the Hulk in the Renault in his first year Destroyed Ocon in the Alpine (or was it still Renault) The Mclaren years, won a race in 2021 even though he struggled with the car 2022 less said the better
Given all that evidence you'd think he should be at Alpine again but I understand he did an Alonso and burnt his bridges as he walked out of the front door at Enstone.
You'd give him a seat at Williams, Alpha Tauri and Haas.

I thought he ruled that out.

Latifi has just announced he is out at the end of the season so that's one seat free!

Latifi has just announced he is out at the end of the season so that's one seat free! That'll reduce the chances of the front runners being scuppered by random late race safety cars next year!

I am certain they can find someone just as adept.

Mercedes reserve for 2023, hoping to slot in to a race seat proper in 2024, assuming Hamilton hangs up his helmet.

Well he should be able to run the simulator and a few free practice sessions to keep his eye in.
