Buying loads of service stuff for my knackered old cars, and GSF have a sale on for the next 4 days or so that seems good value.
Batteries, oil, filters, wiper blades etc.
The joy of new Bosch blades for buttons is visceral.

My experience is that their sales are as frequent as those seen at DFS.

You may be right. I haven’t bought anything really for years. It just seemed cheap.

^ Yes, but for wiper blades you can often do better on line. I changed all 3 blades on the A1 whilst it was in my custody and bizarrely it was cheaper to buy them individually on line and pay the carriage/postage than to buy in person at GSF, Euro Car Parts or Halfords (no real surprise with the last of those 3 though)
EDIT: Changed for genuine Bosch on all 3 blades

Chris - GSF online and in person have totally different prices. Online much cheaper.

Chris - GSF online and in person have totally different prices. Online much cheaper. I know, I've used them before, order online but go in to collect. As with a lot of businesses/industries, the near-constant "sale" prices does make you wonder just how much customers can be ripped off

I've taken to using Autodoc recently. The parts take a little longer to get here, but they're cheaper. I got full service kits for my mates C350 and his Berlingo delivered for £200. I have the app and they credit you a 10p bonus every day if you log in, plus they credited me for the late delivery of the service parts. Not bad for nothing.
GSF have recently taken over CES as well, so I suspect they have a larger market share now and can reduce their prices accordingly.

Auto doc have come up a lot in my far too frequent searches at the moment. Good to know they are reputable.
