The front of our house is cool 22.3 deg, so the lounge and main bedroom will be fine. The sun shines directly on the back of the house in the afternoon so the sunroom will be about 15 deg higher.

It’s hit 40 in the shade in the garden here in Fulham. The car suggested 41. Indoors the pinguino is keeping us at 28.

Downstairs is 32C according to the thermometer in the kitchen, upstairs the one in the bedroom reads 34C. That's with a retired wife at home, windows open all day and a few fans on. At least it has now clouded over and there's a bit of a breeze blowing

At least it has now clouded over and there's a bit of a breeze blowing If it’s high 30s outside (or when it’s warmer outside than in the house) it really should be windows and curtains / blinds closed. That’s what Lindsay did today and despite being 39c today the hall is 28c and both the dining and living rooms are 27c. The kitchen / diner is 31c but it’s had the sun on the French doors since lunchtime, which don’t have blinds. Im current try sitting in our bedroom which is a very pleasant 26c, but I am considering dropping it a degree or two!

23 degrees in sunny Rochdale right now. Other than a brief hold up for an accident near Stafford, the M6 and M60 were as quiet as I have seen them in a long while.

We've opened the windows and spent the last few days on the beach (well the family have - I popped down at lunch time and after work - stayed till around 9pm) - this weather is a rare treat these days so going to make the most of it and sure as hell not going to moan about it - if only it was 76 and would last for 3 months. Lasted for a good while in 2020 too, though perhaps not quite 3 months; I recall many of my flying club members bemoaning the fact we weren't allowed to fly - or even drive to the field at all! Yeah - I wasn't allowed to put my boat on the mooring too until just after the weather broke!
