So I had a trip to the client site this week. Quarterly meeting. Last time I checked into the hotel, drove to a local restaurant to eat with the team, got up in the morning, drove to the offices, drove on minor roads when I left to stop in Knutsford Shell station before joining the M6.
This time I drove up, straight to office, then to hotel, then to dinner, then back to hotel then got up back to London, this time stopping in Stafford to go to the Shell there (2 miles off M6 then back on).
Both trips identical mileage.
Weird.
