The Elgrand came with a scuff on the lower offside front spoiler - as it was a good £2000 cheaper than anything comparable I could find, I decided, “I can live with that - I’m not going to be precious about this car ”Hmmm - didn’t last long - I’ve already cut the paint back and applied hybrid ceramic, coated the underside with Lanoguard, cleaned the seats and fed the leather, pressure washed all the carpets (which are beautifully 70’s kitsch in style), then I decided that scuff was bugging me - so bought some paint and lacquer from The Touch Up Paint Factory - and a couple of hours work and £30 worth of paint (£15 if you count what I actually used) - job done

There's a great amount of satisfaction to be had at getting paintwork right. It's something I've always struggled with.
As an aside, I was in your neck of the woods last week. Spent a couple of days in Tenby as part of my holiday.

How many years ago was it that we bumped into each other? I remember you had a child in a pushchair if that helps you date it. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

That would have been 2014 when Lottie wasn't quite 2 years old. It was great being back down there again, we rented a cottage in Narberth that was so nice we booked it again for next year.

Narberth certainly used to have the only Crematorium in Pembrokeshire. I was there for my last living Aunt's funeral in 2015 after she passed away

Narberth has some decent food shops as well. We always stock up on the way to our annual pilgrimage to Manorbier.

That Crematorium is a long drive from anywhere including Narberth - although it appears to be in the middle of nowhere, there's a huge haulage yard about another mile down the road. Went to a funeral there many years ago in my bosses TRV400 - it was rather noisy so I parked it well away. My then 90 year old gran asked how I got there and when I told her she asked me to cheer her up by taking her home in in - the roof was down and I was tasked with overtaking all her friends on the way home with her waving like mad at them - doing (ahem) well over 100 at one point - one of the many great memories I had of her.
