Welcome back! Where have you been then? That's a good question that I'll answer when I manage to remember when I left...

You had a Peugeot 306 from memory , have you still got it ?? 406 V6 Coupe now, and my mothers Eunos since she passed away, might be why I forgot about here tbfh, I wasn't on the net much for a while there. Still have the buggy but now it's powered by a supercharged S2000 motor instead of the rotary engine.

The 406 and especially the buggy sound great, any clips of it in action ?

Off to the dyno for some fine tuning next week, been sorting out some bits - exhaust weep you can hear in the video, etc.

That looks to be a great piece of kit. Much success in it?

Only just finished putting it together, that video was last week!
Actually the engine has been back out since and fixed the exhaust weep and a dodgy clutch bearing (it was brand new too!) and some other tweaks, made a new fuel rail for the primary set of injectors to solve some fuel boiling, got it back going tonight:
About 400 horsepower and 900kg now. Room for another 150bhp, it's only on low boost for now.

Good to see you back.
Not sure if driving that buggy would put a massive smile on my face or make me shit my pants! Looks like quite a machine.

Only had it up to 7krpm and 4psi of boost last night and I think the answer is going to be 'both' Knowing it's got plenty more to go at yet

I might but I need to get a lot of the early photos sorted, they were all on photobucket before it, well kicked the bucket.

Hello again. Buggy is cool as always and the 406 Coop is one of the best looking motors of all time.

406 Coupe - probably (definitely?) the high points of Peugeot design.
Christ that buggy looks scary......

Yeah, the Coupe is nice, pity about the common Peugeot red lacquer peel from that era. It's been tightened up with polybushed suspension, poly engine mounts, a little porting work, a lightweight flywheel with a kevlar clutch, just making a nice stainless exhaust for it atm and it's also had a refresh with dampers/springs/mounts/brakes all around/rest of the suspension bushes, etc, and it's had pretty much everything else overhauled (gearbox, driveshafts, calipers, etc, all rebuilt).
Drives nice, still more of a cruiser than anything but it's a lot closer to the old 306, etc, for b-road fun now.
