Hope you've got tea and biscuits ready for when we stop by. I do have a business meeting at 2:00, so avoid that time if you can.

A yellow Interceptor. I think I may go and have a little crisis. Not just any Interceptor, but an FF. It is really rather nice.

Back home now. It has been an absolutely knackering, but thoroughly enjoyable four days. I got to meet a lot of interesting people and spend most of the weekend talking old cars. After the show, during break-down, the last thing you want is to be stuck in a log jam of cars so, when the big roller door was opened it was a case of 'gentleman start your engines' and it was was like an old style Le Mans start with people rushing towards cars and racing towards the door. We had vintage Bugatti's, V8 Jensens and Porsches and Bentleys thundering past. Much entertainment was had when this was started and extravagantly warmed up before heading to the door: I did get to drive this around the hall. It is a famous Alvis team race car from 1922 We are already talking about next year's stand and I think I shall be very much involved with organising that.
