Doesn't appeal to me in any way, shape or form. It will be very popular with the "itinerant" community near me, as all previous models have been. They seem to have really taken to the new Defender down here. Must be posh up your way!

I'm looking forward to seeing the proper pictures. The rear looks OK with the lights on and the photos of the gold one look OK.
Maybe the fact it does not look good from the back in white is a clever secret plan to try and wean people off white Range Rovers, really a colour that has no place being offered on any Land Rover vehicle.
From some of the press comment, isn't the 7 seat option only going to be on the long wheel base version? So the SWB will still be a 5 seater.

Officially launched now and on the Configurator. More expensive than the previous model, but better equipped as standard so probably not much it it on a like for like basis.
Good to see dark green back on the standard colour list.

I see all the usual suspects have their reviews on YouTube. Certainly evolution rather then revolution

Hybrid has gained 2 cylinders and bigger battery / motor.
Range Rover is available with a new extended-range plug-in hybrid. The 3.0-litre 6 cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with 105kW motor is available in P440e or P510e variants.

Really good vid
I agree, evolution rather than revolution. Still not sure on the interior , but I do love the side view externally . Love the flatness The short overhangs front and rear give

Watched this on the carwow channel. It’s very smart. The plug in hybrid could be very interesting. I think the extended electric-only range means it will drop into the 7% bik tax bracket that bmw have made there own with the x5.

SUVs have never been my bag, but that is an exceptional piece of modern automotive design. The rear 3/4 view is a particular highlight and Batumi gold with those silver 23s is the plums.

In the absence of the hybrid, which I reckon will be the big seller, I'd be quite happy with the "base" one, in dark green, with a tan interior, no privacy glass and only 21's. About as non-urban as you can get. Nice. £99,285 OTR. Bargain.

I do find that dashboard massively disappointing. It’s as if Tesla have designed it.

I really need to see one and more importantly sit in before being completely sure.
Agree with the comments about the dashboard, maybe it will be better when you can see and feel the quality and at least PGs base spec car has a proper leather dash, the current base model has pleather.
My minimum spec would be an HSE 300 which comes out at £104k, which I don’t think is bad, but once you’ve gone over £100k might as well make it a D350 Autobiography which I wouldn’t bother adding any options to, so would be £117.4K or call it £120k after some deplorable side steps. That’s a cost to change of around £50k, it would have to be pretty amazing for that.

Having tried to use the touch screen on the i-Pace when on the move, it is seriously dangerous and very haphazard, I really wouldn't want any car that relies on it for the more basic functions such as ventilation, heating, radio/media and heated things (windows and seats).
Even as a passenger it is difficult to do what you need on the touch screen as your finger bounces to the wrong icon as you go over a bump. At least in the i-Pace the heater and seat controls are still analogue through the use of dials and it looks as though the new RR may be too. BMW's i-Drive is so much better to control whatever you need in both safety and ease of use and the BMW voice control is also excellent. On the i-Pace, the voice control is pretty useless but it is probably 2 to 3 generations older than the new RR so hopefully that will be improved.

Interior is nice. The exterior looks as if they got the previous model and inflated it with a high pressure hose, ballooning out the exterior panels. It’s too bland in profile.

Certainly from the outside it's evolution rather than revolution but that's all it needs to be to sell. I think the rear light treatment will look better in the flesh and probably be quite a good effect on a dark coloured car. It will be interesting to see how the design feature makes it onto other models in the range.
Agree re the dashboard but it has to be said that it's just the way cars are going and I imagine the material quality will be night and day better than Tesla's efforts and will be a very nice place to be.
Harry's brief review showed it much better than the press pictures do

I know there would be huge cost implications with making a shaped screen but it would be nice to see screens shaped into the dash rather than being a flat rectangular surface just plonked on there.

I don't disagree, but I think it's a curved screen. I bet it's because it keeps the cost of changing down when new tech/screens/screen sizes become available.

The screen is curved. Personally I think the interior is a triumph. It might not look like a Victorian drawing room like the Bentayga but it looks and feels like nothing other than a Range Rover and that it’ll feel like a Range Rover is the most important thing. The low window line, view from the driver seat and familiarity of controls, will be enough to remind buyers that a Range Rover is different from the rest and something special as a result.

You can't judge an interior by looking at pictures. The stuck on screen isn't great, but there's so much more to it. As Michael has pointed out, the low window line is one of the major differentiators of, that along with the huge panoramic roof and view out over the bonnet gives a cabin feel unlike anything else I've sat in. This is Martin Spec...only 3 cost options! Similar to PGs, just more FG. I'd normally go for the black pack on any car, but really not sure on the RR as even without black wheels it doesn't feel right for the car. build.landrover/867490D3

I can see that green being a popular colour. It was criminal that they ever dropped a proper "country green" in the first place. So yes I think it will be very popular. Except with those who still think that white with black wheels, windows and roof is a good look on a FFRR.
