I'll have the Saph, the XR2, the black Integrale, the Clio, the Turbo 2 and the 993, please.

Is it wrong to quite fancy the Golf Rivage?

Is this an investor’s collection and they are now cashing out whilst the market is at its height ?
33 miles on the speedster 138 miles on the 991 turbo 664 miles on the Singer 169 miles on the V8 Defender 470km on the Spectre Defender
I quite like the Singer – but £650k is fucking mental.

It is a collection and I think your assumption is correct.

Can't blame people for looking to turn a pound note or two, but it's a shame these cars aren't being enjoyed.
I don't know what I would do with a collection that big - I'd have to employ myself full time to drive them. Service and MOT time must be a right PITA

The idea of a collection sounds fab but I don't see me ever wanting a vast number of cars. Once you get beyond a certain number the pain in running the fleet must far outweigh the pleasure you get from driving them.
Having learned from having 4 cars on the drive at one point, only ever have the number of cars you can get out without having to move another car. Its always the one you want to use that is stuck behind another car and therefore doesn't get used as you can't be bothered with the car shuffle.

At one point we had 5 cars that were in rows of 1, 2 and 2. The 2 in the garage never saw daylight and whichever car was behind the solo one also never moved. It's one of the positives of the house we're in now - we could have all the cars parked side by side so there's no hassle on taking any of them out (unless we start talking about flat batteries which is a whole other line of topic )
