Well it seems I am going rto have to get new fuel lines and might have to rebuild the two new carbs.
Fuel line kit Circa £90, rebuild the carbs with new internals, no idea but I will know very shortly.
I was wondering if super might be different but nobody seems to know that I can find.

This is a big conversation in vintage and classic circles. Super does contain less ethanol, so definitely go down that route. I also use an additive, Millers VSPe which provides additional protection. One of the best things you can do is to avoid having fuel lay in the tank unused for a long time. It is over extended time that the ethanol absorbs water and that is what causes the damage.

Super is definitely being touted as the solution to this for older cars and will remain E5 from what I've read. I don't usually use it - its made naff all difference even at high mileages for any car I've owned - but for you it works out!
