Is that the SEAT version of the Audi Q2 thing that you rarely see?

Looks more like a Renault Captur to me. The Q2 is truly revolting to my eyes and if this is basically the same car it is a considerable improvement (from munter to one the has fewer barge pole marks)

Strikes me as just another crossover, then again I am not a fan of any of them.

Is that the SEAT version of the Audi Q2 thing that you rarely see? I see alot of them and apparently Audi can't build enough, however they are shocking looking and proof that the correct badge on any old turd, will sell. As for the Arona, the side profile is very Captur, however with lines as opposed to curves. It is a good looking car and will likely do well, but SEAT seriously need to sort their interiors out. And VAG seriously need to sort out their radar cruise sensor; in this case it is a big slab of plastic on the lower grille, much like other VAG cars, at least Renault disguise it within the diamond and you can't see it.

I keep reading this as Aroma.

That's actually a pleasing shape - although I think the two tone colour is what is giving that impression rather then the shape itself.
Tend to agree re the SEAT interiors. They are rather dull and at odds with the "sporty Spanish verve" image that SEAT try to project (using dull VW product).
Changing he subject, a white Skoda Kodiak passed me yesterday on the motorway. It looked huge.

I'm not a fan of the very angular Seat styling. Although I do rather prefer the dashboard dedign in this over other current Seats.

I can see their appeal and the interior quality is leaps and bounds ahead of the Captur

Can't say I've seen a Q2 on the road yet. I like where SEAT are going with their styling. Looks decent enough, but I don't get the point of small SUV's. Surely their only appeal is the slightly elevated driving position as if the Juke is anything to go by the rear is cramped the boot space is pathetic and a similar in length sized Golf, Focus et al would do the same job if not better. Though in saying that and I don't know if they are classed in the class above but the Peugeot 3008 really appeals to me (one of the best looking cars on sale in my opinion) and I really like the look of the forthcoming Karoq
SUV's appeal to me, but to justify them to me they need to offer more than just a raised driving position. I can see the appeal of one having a Hyundai iX35 not so long back as a loan car when my Mondeo went in for body repair, but my current 12 year old Mondeo probably takes up the same road footing as one of these smaller SUV's yet offers a 500 litre boot and decent rear legroom.
It's only until you get to the larger SUV's that they really justify themselves to me and in all honesty if I was able to afford £20k on an SUV my money would be heading towards a slightly used XC60 in black. Lovely

I'd love to know where you can get a slightly used XC60 for just £20k!
Small SUVs are great if you have a bad back and don't want to drop down into the driving seat. The raised driving position aids visibility especially when a growing number of other cars on the road are also much taller than in recent years

Autocar are still insisting on calling them Seats I see. It's SEAT, you dolts, all the letters stand for something (Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo) and as a happy coincidence those letters make a word, in other words, an acronym!

If it makes you feel any better they treat FIAT the same way.

I didn't realise that they depreciated so heavily. The 2015 one looks like very good value
