All that damage and he was initially going only 30 mph; he must have scrubbed half of that speed off by taking all that avoiding action by swerving to miss parked cars, oh and the cat, so by the time he would have hit the wall he was probably only going at about 15 mph tops.
Now I don't want to call him a liar but there is a distinct air of billshit about his description of events!

Says he lost the back end. I didn't know the Corsa was rear wheel drive!

I fear that his excuse is the thing most out of control...

Lift off oversteer at less than 30mph? Yeah, right.

Steered around two cars etc yet still had enough speed to demolish a garage wall from 30 MPH ? yeah......

It looks like a new build house that the guy hit, he could've probably doe that much damage by kicking the wall.
Obviously though the story is just that.

I went to one a few years back where a young bloke in a Civic Type R lost it on a slight, sweeping bend, in a 40 limit, crossed the wide grass verge, went across 3 driveways, took out one fence and wrote off 2 cars on the last driveway. "I was only going about 40, I don't know how it happened", he said. If you're going to lie, at least make it half believable.
Corsa boy sounds similarly ill-equipped in the brain department.

I do feel for the young of today playing out their lives in the glare of social media - I have used some tall tales to explain my behaviour (it wasn't a sheep which caused a minor incident with armco in Scotland, it was my mate bouncing around in the back of the car, still I'm not sure my Mum believed the story anyway!) The difference was it wasn't spread all over the interweb/newspapers!

That bloody cat has been causing accidents on the roads for years. It's about time someone did us all a favour and flatten it instead of swerving next time.
