I've found my old S-Type R for sale on ebay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-S-TYPE-R-2004-STUNNING-RADIANCE-RED/184702109093?hash=item2b011a85a5:g:QZ4AAOSwRhVgR4fuLook what they've done to it !! - Painted the wheels black
- Fitted a Leaper
- Put a wally exhaust on it
- Dyed the two tone sand coloured inserts black
- Painted the bloody wheels black (so bad I have to mention it twice)
- Swapped the xenons for halogen lights (understandable given the fix I had to do during my ownership).
I'm pleased it's still going strong (surprised the valley pipe had to be done again though), but it's been Barry'd

Was that a company vehicle or one you bought?

I bought it in 2016 - I was going to tag this on that thread, but it's gone.

I don't remember you having it. I saw my 325ti for sale a few years ago. I bet that's been barry'd to within an inch of its life.

I saw my old C-Max again last week parked opposite the hospital. It was dirty and in need of a wash, but no sign of any (further) modifications having been done to it

I'm not offended by that at all, although the wheels could do with being dark grey instead of black. I like the all black interior and no chrome.
I'm pretty sure none of my old cars, with the exception of the Clio, are still even on the road.

My Mitsubishi Lancer is still knocking around apparently. Last time I saw it the spoiler has been removed and it had some dubious looking wheels.
Still, it's 20 years old this year so good to see it still alive.

What is it about changing the seat colour on former forum wheels??!

The guy who bought it from me was www.nickcartwright.com . Him and his son turned up and bought it. Said it was going to be used on track . The reg was WG52OKO wasn’t it ?

You could have given it a quick wash It needed more than a quick wash.... That is considerably less dirty than my Cayman is currently. Doesn't need a wash at all

Is it not possible that it's just had a plate change? I was looking for one of mine recently and it's shown as not found on the MOT checker but presume it's just got a different 'name' now.

I recently saw an advert for my old Audi TT. I sold it for £1250, but the as was listed ten months later for £2500. A quick look at the pictures confirmed that it was still in as bad a state as the condition I sold it. However, the magic words were used. "Appreciating classic" 😐 I don't think so.

To be fair, if they achieve that price, they are right

I've found a couple of Mrs Sacamano's old 500s for sale on autotrader, as well as her last Qashqai. Both ended up being purchased by people fairly close to where we live - one on the same estate.

I've seen a couple of my old cars being re sold, including the ZT260 and Volvo 850. I've also seen one of the MX-5s on a salvage website, having been crashed within about 6 months of me selling it and I happened across an accident one day and realised the crumpled car in the middle of the junction was a Yaris I used to have.
