One of my mates is 50 in a few weeks and I've landed on the sheer genius idea of getting him a painting of a car. He likes Alfas, in fact he owns a very late model 916 Spyder (the front wheel drive one from the late 90s/early 00s) and it'd be nice if I could get one of those.
Failing that a classic Alfa.
Does anyone know a good place to look? Budget is up to about £150.

As it happens, Tim I drew what I think is an F40 during my last conference call. I could probably let this go for around £150.

Thanks for that link! I bought 3 of their mugs about 15 years ago, with images of a VX220 Turbo, Audi TT Coupe and E46 BMW M3 on them - in the same colours as the cars I actually owned and with the numberplates that I had on them. I will now see if they have got any Caymans or E90 M3s

To be fair if you commissioned Michael to do a one off drawing of an alfa including some development sketches on the same page in A2 or A1 it would be a far more personal present.

If you could choose a car that looked as much like a Newfoundland dog as possible it might even look alright. As a proper artist most of my work is left unfinished.

Have a look at adamrowlinson.co.uk.
He has done a few car prints - there is a Z4 and F1 car on his site, but I’ve seen one of all the golf gti’s down the years, which is to die for.
