I think my wallet just caught fire I'll have to say no to that last one unless you're going to cough up for a partial retrim of the seats?

Wait a few more years and you won't have to wait for the £60k.

So do I. That blue one is amazing however! It took me all of 2 mins to find something on there that I will now try to forget seeing, while covering my ears and shouting "la la la" loudly: used.jaguar.co.uk/search#/details/3077715Wow, that’s spectacular. A hell of a lot of car for the money

For £40k you could get one a couple of years newer, £35k looks about the right price for one that age. A lot of car for the money.

I was just thinking of the centre panels being changed to black, however now I'm going to see if I can find a green car with red seats (any make, not just a Jag)

It goes to show how we are all different. I like the cream centres on those seats and think they brighten up the cabin.

How easy is it to get rid of the spoiler? I'm assuming with the fixed version it doesn't have the pop up function. The pre-facelift was such a pretty car.

Plenty of older stuff has that colour combo and one I'd be partial to myself. Its only in the last 15 years we've become so boring with greys and blacks

That's the dealer's problem - I'd make it a condition of any deal (because it is hideous).
I think the lift gubbins is integral to the standard spoiler unit (which the fixed spoiler doesn't have). Although I would be more than happy to go through life without the standard spoiler ever being raised - I'm not sure what difference it makes and it is clearly designed to indicate to plod how fast you are going.

For me the only problem with the F-Type is the considerable lack of luggage space. My wife doesn't travel light. But I guess your wife has access to the Touring if she needs more space?

this acutally leave me with another dilemma ,do I keep the 335d or do I sell that and I use the Cayenne. The 335d is coming up to 60k miles ,the cayenne has 35k miles and is fantastically well equipped example .

It goes well and clearly handles , but I just can’t get on with the looks inside or out . I’d rather have a 7 or 7.5 .... or an f type 😉

Whoever decided that those spoilers should go on a Jag needs taking out and beating to a pulp in the car park.
But leaving the spoilers aside, it's such a shame that in 4 years, Jag as we know them will cease to exist. The XJ's gone. No F-Type. Nothing left from the current range at all. There's nothing wrong with a lot of the cars, especially after the recent interior changes. No more so than with other makes (IMHO of course).
