I do wonder if the test engineers at VW have sense of humour or a sense of irony as the test mules are disguised to resemble Peugeots in the Autocar gallery. |

ID is a Citroen model from the 1950s and 60s (cheaper version of the DS) so it is only appropriate that the VW resembles a Peugeot/ Citroen of some sort.
Actually, the more recent Peugeots look much more interesting than this dull effort.

A Chinese knock off of a Pug 5008. Oh dear VW. The VW range in total appears dull and I'm not liking their electric offerings much either.

Do they still make the Arteon? That's the most interesting looking thing they've made since the Scirocco.

It’s a big SUV for the US market, more interesting than the Pug, it is what it is.

My brother-in-law is eyeing the hybrid version as a slightly sexier company car to replace his Passat GTE estate when the time comes. |

I quite like the Arteon and there's an R version on the way with the same engine / tech / torque vectoring etc as the new MK8 Golf R. It looks a lot better than the id6    |
