You'd think within the portfolio of brands that 'Stellantis' covers that they could ditch the DS crap.

Looks ok. I'll be intrigued to see one in black with road grime up the sides - I reckon those creases in the door could lead to pretty patterns

What a fabulous looking machine. My mother will now be telling me she’ll be buying one.

It's certainly a whole lot better looking than the previous DS4. The wheels on it look comically oversized though. I'm not loving the brown steering wheel inside.
But is it really a "premium" product that will tempt people away from their Golfs and A3's? It might if it was cheap enough, but if PSA want to charge for it, they'll sell very few. Except in France of course, where it will fly out of the showrooms.

This DS malarkey really should simply be "Citröen".
That does look good, though.

I'll be the voice of dissent. The wheel to glasshouse ratio is wrong, the details are unnecessarily fussy and it should just be a Citroen.

If that's the E-Tense version, would a hydrogen fuelled one be named H-Arro?
And I'm with Blarno on the wheel size. They look disproportionately large

All press shots have large wheels. It’s still a very attractive design.

What are those, 24" wheels? They look massive. Love the look of this thing and the interior. Where everything else in this sector looks the same lets hope it generates a lot of sales to show you can be bold and don't have to look as dull as a MK8 Golf.

I still wonder what the obsession with larger wheels is about, impractical imho.

I still wonder what the obsession with larger wheels is about, impractical imho. Designers' sketches have always shown their creations with huge wheels - they think it looks better, and to be honest who doesn't look at a car and think to themselves; "those wheels need to be an inch or two bigger?" It's really only relatively recently that the actual models themselves have been produced with 18", 19", 20" wheels as standard.

Apart from anything else, the compromise that these ever larger wheels creates is ever wider/larger cars. Nobody designs parking spaces for these things and with anti car sentiment so prolific, it's rather like shooting yourself in the foot just before starting a marathon.

Cars are certainly wider - partly to accommodate our wider girths, and partly to allow for side impact protection.

At least they know that as back up if it doesn't sell they can flog the design and tooling to Lexus and let them have a go.
