The F31 Touring, in MSport spec, is a thing of relative beauty.
You can get the 330d in xDrive flavour too, not sure that applies for the 5 series?

VW ID4

I watched Jonny Smith's review of the ID4 earlier today and I am struggling to see the attraction.
Whilst it's not as badly proportioned as the ID3 (which is ungainly from many angles), it could best be described as plain, forgettable and generally dull, the detailing at the front is particularly bland.
However - it's not as bad as the interior which appears to be a deliberate effort to undo VW's reputation in that particular department. The styling is a mix of weird and dull, the two sticky out screens look ridiculous, the trim selection is bizarre and those grey plastics that sit just below the window line look just like what they are (poorly moulded, hard and scratchy) and have a 90s Fiat vibe.
I don't have an issue with the fact it's not very fast, but surely the related compensation should be a hugely extended range. A claimed 310 miles for the 77kw battery version is not impressive and the smaller 52kw battery claims 216 miles which is probably a usable range of 130 miles before your hoop starts twitching like a Rabbit's nose.
Most disappointing

I saw one of (As in I don't know which one) these VW things yesterday in a minty green colour and it's rare that I laugh out loud and point at something whilst driving, but I did when I saw it. Ridiculous, hideous thing.
It might have been an ID3. I don't care either way, it was as appealing as sticking my man sausage into an industrial press.
