This weeks car is a Ram Truck. It’s a twin cab, has a Hemi and has no room in the back. The rear seats are tiny. I was in the back for 4 hours today and had no room, the seats are straight up so on a long journey, you’re straight up and uncomfortable.
I drove it a couple of times already. Good dashboard. Good stereo. Feels cheap inside though. The engine makes a great noise but compared to the charger I had earlier in the year, it’s slow.
It can carry 4 guys and luggage and tools reasonably well. I’d prefer to get an mpv in future to be honest.
I’ll be getting another car on Wednesday so interested to see what it’s like.

The back seat on all these crew cab things is always too upright. I’d hired one so we could send out 4 guys all tooled up and the two in the back moaned like buggery.

Well, you could take the Australian route; start with a Toyota Landcruiser, cut part of the load bay area off, weld in a special rear bulkhead and add a chassis extension and pick-up bed. At least one appears to have made it to the UK, or this outfit are modifying under licence or have gone for a copy: www.neneoverland.co.uk/listings/toyota-land-cruiser-200-double-cab-pick/

I read an article earlier in the week that said that opinions are beginning to shift in the US towards people thinking that many full size US pickups are getting too big; stupidly big.
