It being the time of the year of shitty roads and filth everywhere, especially on the country lanes, I thought a before and after thread of dirty and clean cars might be worthwhile. Here's my starter for 10. The Mini was in a terrible state and it now looks much better.

Ahh shit, I cleaned the 500 before selling it, it was filthy. Tina's cars can look like yours within 1 day, the roads she has to go on for her job are all country lanes.

Looks good. I didn’t take any photos, but the Benz enjoyed a similar transformation today

It wasn’t as bad as your mbefore’, but I’ve just cleaned the Golf and forgot to take a picture....
The MINI does look good, the summer wheels are nicer, but that’s usually the case (all mine have been) and it means the car looks even better when the weather improves and you put them back on.

The 18's won't be going back on. I've sold them on eBay. The ride and noise is way better on the 17's so they'll be staying. When the winters have worn out, we'll probably swap to all-season tyres.

Ahhh, of course....sorry, I forgot that was the plan. Need to wear them out quick then before the temperatures get too high!

I don't have a photo of it but the 320 was dirtier than the mini before and is now spotless courtesy of some Asian gentlemen at an old garage on the way to B&Q.

I'm feeling bad. The last time my car was washed was in Italy in mid-October, since when it has been driven back the 1,000+ miles to London.
It's actually not as grubby as you might think (not nearly as bad as the PG's MINI) but it is nevertheless pretty grimy. It's just that between 14 days' quarantine and then lock-down, combined with lots of bad weather and me being frantically busy with work, I've not had time.
And since it is going in for a service on Friday, I'll let BMW wash the worst of it off and then if I get time at the weekend I can clean the bits they (on past experience) will miss.

My car is currently in far worse state than the Mini before picture. Our lane and drive are filthy from the Yorkshire water traffic and the roads are generally covered in mud at this time of year. The car was even washed two weeks ago.

This is why I don't clean my car between October and March. It would take about a week for my car to look like that. Currently, my bootlid is completely brown. The badges are brown, my stickers are brown and all bar the sweep of my wiper on the rear window is brown. Anything below the window line down the sides is brown.
I did a count the other day and just going to work on a normal day, I pass 5 farms. If I'm dropping Phoebe at school first, I pass another 4 farms twice.

I forgot to take a picture of the ‘before’, but it was filthy as I’ve used it a for bit over the last 2 weeks, the wheels and tailgate were black. Just did my 30min no bucket winter clean....foam through a pump sprayer, jet wash off and rinse with filtered water. It will be dirty the first time it’s used this week, so not much point spending more time on it, just wanted to get rid of the salt.

Looks shiny. None of our cars have turned a wheel in two weeks, so not much cleaning to do. Although I do have a supermarket click and collect run later this afternoon, so that will change.

Sticking to original order, events changed which make the tax increase the least worse option.....of course it still needs it's emissions certificate so there is time for them to f**c it up further 😂

Looks immaculate to me.
That's a lovely colour and the wheels set it off perfectly.
