I'm a big fan of that cloth interior in the link.
Do they sell ok? I'm still not sure as to where the Velar fits in the lineup once you spec one to a decent standard. I just don't see many about compared to the rest of the LR range.

No surprises there. But good to see.
Still can't have a green one. This seems an oversight in a JLR product.
But at least Portofino Blue improves an otherwise rather dreary palette of colours.

What is Portofino like in the metal? Looks quite dull on the configurator, is it better in real life?

Another big thumbs up for the cloth interior. I think manufacturers should work harder on nice fabric interiors to balance up the humanity of car manufacture as opposed to working on faux leather.

I always think of Portofino as lilac - that's the best description of Portofino Blue as applied to Fiat Coupes.

Presuming there's an updated E-Pace and XF Sportbrake coming, as I've seen both in Camo the last few days.

When you come to trade that the JLR dealer will low ball you because “no one wants a second hand RR with a cloth interior, we’ll have to re-trim it”.

Sports Direct own-brand-trainers-grade springs to mind.

Sports Direct own-brand-trainers-grade springs to mind. That’s the case with nearly all manufacturers standard leather. The LR fabric seats are the same cost as Windsor leather which is the middle one and similar quality / finish to BMW Nappa. I quite like the fabric, but wouldn’t choose it over Windsor leather.

Windsor leather is kind of ironic, given that we're told the Royal cars are upholstered in West of England cloth and only have leather in the driver's compartment....

Portofino blue was the replacement for Loire blue (which was the same as Dark Sapphire blue on Jags).
If the car was clean and the sun was shining, Loire/DS blue would really pop with a sparkly shimmer (lots of metallic flake), but all other times it just looked like dark blue. It does look best on a Range Rover.

There’s a campaign to have Land Rover reintroduce Aintree Green across the ranges. It’s is a colour that works in our dreary climate.

Not that I know of. On a few of the Discovery groups it’s a reoccurring issue.
