It's called a what?!? Sounds like a Himalayan command! Enyak! As in "mount thy shaggy beast of burden and set forth!"
Either that, or with the "iv" bit, rather like the name of someone's sailing boat. As in "The round-the-island Dragon class race was won by Derek and Giles aboard Enyaq IV"
Apart from that it looks like smart family transport for socially-vegan suburban mummies.

Either that, or with the "iv" bit, rather like the name of someone's sailing boat. I saw a sailing boat on Windermere called Mr Bump which I rather liked. The iV nomenclature makes me think I've missed versions 1, 2 and 3.
The weird illuminated grill looks like it's made of the lego airport bricks circa 1990.

Not keen on the blue lights either. Concept or the real deal? Delete option?

Looks like a BMW 2-series MPV thing with a different nose, to me

Looks like a BMW 2-series MPV thing with a different nose, to me I was thinking that the front reminded me very much of BMW's current output.

Another who thinks it looks like a BMW, but with a less comical grill. I like it.

I guess as everyone seems to think they need one, I'm going to have to get used to over-sized comedy front grilles.

^ Just as cars no longer need radiator grilles since they are becoming battery-driven and have no radiators any more........

Skoda have the most pleasing range of designs in the cooking Volkswagen empire, the current Superb and new Octavia estates are very handsome (Superb especially) with pleasant interiors.
This new EV is the least noddyish looking mass market EV (IMO) and the EV credentials look good. I suspect many buyers will happily sacrifice extreme performance for range.
Although, Autocar did the full number on the new Octavia 2.0 tdi and it returned 73mpg on their touring route.
73 mpg

Interestingly my S-i-L asked about leasing a car and the Skoda Scala came up, principally because it’s currently deposit paid, three months pcp paid and £300 per month. Nice little car for no major outlay.
