I thought there were a few companies interested in that.

Ok video on Autocar duly watched and I warmed to Mr Murray a bit more. But I think the car itself just looks curiously dated.

Sounds a bit like how F1 cars used to sound in the pre-hybrid era... wonder if the soundtrack has been amplified as I doubt that it would be street-legal judging by the sound track

It sounds bloody fantastic though. Let's hope most of that sound makes it in to the production cars.

The Lexus LFA is the only road car I have heard that was anything like that. I just fear that this car might be 10 years too late.

To me It looks like a MP4-12C from the front , a 458 from the back , and a bit of Mclaren F1 from the side. The looks don’t WOW me , but then the F1 never did . But what a machine, and it’s fantastic that this type of car is coming .

Oh, and how small does it look from the head on camera right at the start. It looks like there isn’t room for a passenger either side of Dario!

Went to the members meeting at Goodwood yesterday and had a good chat with one of the engineers. Apparently all 100 are now sold but there will be trickle down to a more junior model they will launch shortly.
Got to say 650bhp, less then a tonne in a car that is smaller then a VW Golf that revs to 12,500rpm, what more could you want. Well apart from the £2.3m plus taxes. I don't think it looks particularly good but then if you want flash there's plenty of Bugattis, Lambos and Paganis to chose from.

I've discovered that I usually pass the gates to GMD's new factory where the T-50 will be built, on the way to my new job each morning. Depending on traffic etc sometimes I drive on Highams Lane and sometimes I use Chertsey Road. For traffic reasons I go home a completely different way that also avoids what is a nasty right turn at a T-junction in the dark whereas in the mornings, it is a nice easy left turn

Yeah I used to use that Highams Lane for cutting through for a client visit years ago. Then find myself alongside the Chobham test track my dad used to inspect military vehicles for export decades ago.

For me, much of a car's soul is the sound and this is part of what drew me into the whole F1 thing. My spine tingles when I hear that engine howl. To think that we could do so much more for the planet by using truly eco fuels and current tech but, the arseholes have the ear of government. That and the bloody stupidity of allowing the mega battery factory to fail, it makes me wonder if this is some sort of wonky bloody nightmare. Perhaps it is. Or I had too much coffee. Yeah, who nose? ?

I watched most of the sign-off drive video posted above, last night. I recognise quite a few of the roads (I suppose that the Hindhead tunnel is fairly distinctive....). Wonder if you'll be able to rent the T50 from any of the specialist rental companies? I'd love to have a go in one
