I see quite a lot of E-Paces round my way. It does look a bit dumpy in some specs but not in others. I suspect the R-Dynamic body add-ons help it look better as it looks quite smart in the photos above (with the exception of the black wheels).
The interior was the first time Jag used the F-Type themes in another car - I think those are the same rotary aircon dials and gearlever as an F-Type, plus the grab handle etc. It works pretty well in my view.
At least it was a car that genuinely surprised you - you expected to hate it and didn't. That's almost praise!

Ah ok. The garage I worked at leased 4 Skoda Citigos at something like £120 per month as courtesy cars. We initially sold Subaru, Ssangyong and eventually Mitsubishi at which point the loaners became the, er, small Mitsi hatch the name of which escapes me! You can imagine what I'd have said if they had left me a Citigo..... I only needed 3 x loan cars from Bedford BMW and they had a policy of not giving 7 series customers one of their service department cars, only a demonstrator, so I had 2 x X5s and a 740Ld. This is identical to the loan car my local Citroen dealership used to give me when my Xantia was in for it's frequent 6000 mile service. It wasn't the only loan car they had but I got it. Every. Single. Time. I'm not sure what they were inferring.
