Just having to look at that awful steering wheel on a daily basis would be a big enough turn off for me.

Just needs the stickers and then it's a full house.
The steering wheel does look awful with the big plastic centre, but at least it has paddles rather than buttons.

How to make a Sow's ear from a silk purse. Thats all sorts of wrong, colour, interior, no strips, convertible and the price.
I've see 316i badges on M3's in the past which kind of works, if thats your bag, as its a 3 series. This is a 4 Series so, no.

Fiat offered a very similar colour on the Coupe - Chrono Grey - but it really didn't look as awful as that BMW.
I thought the old shape cars had the same wheel as the F30 series 3 & 4s that has a round plastic boss with a 3/4 ring chrome strip and looks much, much nicer than that monstrosity.

Autocar liked the B3 when they ran it as a long-termer. I recall them saying that the dealer servicing costs were pretty much the same as regular N55-engined BMW’s, which if you were looking at a B3 v M4, would be a big saving.
The thing I can’t get past is that you can get a 440i Cabrio with individual interior and fit MPPSK for a lot less. You get a better looking car (imo), and a much better-looking steering wheel. Sytner often have optimistic pricing, but with them being the exclusive retailer group for Alpina, even more so.

I looked at the badge and just thought that it was stupid, but having now belatedly realised that it's a 3 badge on a 4 it's even stupider!
