It's my nephew's 18th birthday soon and I was thinking of buying him an offroad experience (or I could just leave it and he'll put his A2 through a hedge naturally...) Any recommendations for good venue in the North East?

Is Skipton too far south? There are a few forum members who've really enjoyed the LR experience It's a couple of hours south so you're looking at 4 hours there and back. I'll look at it as it is the experience I'd really like him to have but ideally I'd like something within an hour's drive or so. |

Cheers for that - they both look good. I might go with the Slaley one - last time I took him and my niece up there they had me swinging through the trees on the Go Ape course (still got my certificate). |

And useful if he needs to test his eyesight at the same time! Wouldn't mind doing one of these experiences one day myself. I've got a mate who does a bit of greenlaning in his old hilux so maybe I'll have to join him one day when we're allowed back in other peoples cars. |
