Pics from the weekend. Having no Orchard parking wasn't really an issue in itself, as it was only a short walk from where I was parked. It was the fact that when we arrived on Saturday morning, the Orchard an surrounding area was empty. When it did start filling up, they'd let the MG owners club in, and a load of chavved up Subaru's. We've been coming for 10 years, and I did notice Rebecca 'liked' one of the chavvy Subaru owners comments on Facebook, which said along the lines of 'Thanks for letting us gatecrash La Vie' WTF?! Colin is sending 'feedback' shall we say, and I hope next year we can get our spot back. As previously mentioned, because there was this supposed car club ban, the two Alpine owners clubs were absent, as well as Peugeot. Instead, you got a French area, an Italian area (which were no where near full), and mostly dreary crap filling the rest, with some real gems randomly parked in amongst the crap. On Saturday, the Ferrari owners club area was excellent though, as well as the Porsche Tewkesbury stand
Luckily, infield was as good as ever, with Veyron's, and EB110, a Chiron (first one registered in the UK), a 250 GTO and many more , as you will see in the pictures. We also had a Spitfire display on Sunday.
The weather was poor on Saturday, but Sunday was scorching all day. Coupled with a great meal at the Ye Olde Hobnails Inn, and great hospitality at Dan's Saturday night, it was still a great weekend. Hopefully next year, more forummers will be present and we get the Orchard back.
