I wasn't expecting that. At best it looks like an accident.

Oh! I think I'd encourage a toddler to get creative with a black marker pen on that.
Nice carpet stripes though.

If the red and black wasn't bad enough, it has a cream headlining to go with them.

I'm going to be controversial here and say that, if the top of the armrest was black leather instead of red leather, then I actually wouldn't mind that overly. Better than all-black, which is just dreary and unimaginative.

Can I be more controversial and say that on reflection I like it apart from the cream headlining (it needs to be black). The most jarring part of the red is the photos taken from the front door showing the red armrest against a sea of black but in real life you'd see it continued into the back. Same for the rear area photo with the red sides below the armrest but then if it was your car when would you be sitting in the back to notice that?

A black armrest and upper centre console (above the stitching) would help a lot, but it's still a bit too bright red (in pictures) and as it is now, it's awful.
At least the leather will be nice quality which is a small consolation, so it could be worse.

Red leather never photographs well, it's why I had to go and look at a 440 with a red interior to see if I could cope with the dash, in reality it's much more subtle than the photos make it look. My Alfa was the same, it looked pink in photos.

Damn.
I came to post about cars and seem to have stumbled into a photography forum. It’s all contrast, hue, saturation and exposure here.
Sorry: I’m off.

I see that what they say about money and taste holds as true as ever. You'd think that Alpina would have some sort of taste police that all orders had to go through. "Well sir, you can have the red door cards and the red centre console, but the lower dash and rooflining must be black. Then it's acceptable to us. Otherwsie, if you want red everywhere, I sugest you take your money to Porsche who don't give a shit frankly".

It's, erm, different. The red is a bit much. But, on the whole, the rest of it looks magnificent. If I had the means, I'd probably live with it.
