It looks much better than similar cars costing twice as much (or 3 times once they've been optioned up!)

It will come to the UK thanks to Holden Special Vehicles in Australia, who GM have selected to do the conversation to RHD. HSV have also converted the current Camaro to RHD too. They have also converted the ZL1 in RHD, a RHD ZL1 in the UK would be epic.

Unless that's a Murcan figure? Their 0-60s don't usually start at 0!

Unbelievably good value, especially in the US. I do also rather like the revolutionary (for a 'Vette) looks. A lot of performance car for the money. Look up Doug Demuro's review on YouTube.

Sub 3 sec 0-60 with only 495 bhp. It must be pretty light? The gt3 has 500 bhp and plenty of mags have tested it around 3 dead to 60 (some even below that ) so it’s very feasible .

Corvettes - for many generations now - are one of the few US cars I really get excited about, and this one looks great too. $60k starting price there!!!!

Supposedly corona has meant that a rhd version will not be coming anytime soon, this is a real shame.

Looks like it is coming to the UK in RHD as they’ve released the price, which has to be a good sign. It will be £81,700 for the coupe and £87,110 for the convertible.
Sounds like a lot vs $60k, but it will be equipped with all the packs.
As standard, all UK Corvettes will include the desirable Z51 performance package which combines larger Brembo brakes with front-mounted cooling ducts, a limited-slip differential, shorter axle ratio, sports exhaust system, level 1 aero package and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres.
In addition to the mechanical upgrades the C8 Corvette Launch Edition is specified to top-tier 3LT equipment level, which integrates Chevrolet’s impressive MagneRide adaptive suspension, a performance data logger inside the infotainment system, head-up display, embedded navigation system, Bose sound system, rear camera-mirror and heated and ventilated seats. Equip a Porsche 911 to this level and you’ll be looking at a price point of over £100,000.
That does leave the option for a cheaper car after these launch editions are sold, but I’d want all those options.

I reckon a similar spec 911 would be more like £120-130k which does make it look pretty good value and you get a V8!

Is it unfair of me to say it looks a bit like someone built a Ferrari 360 kit car based on an MR2?
Just not very convinced by the styling. Then again I never much liked the 360 either.
