When you blank out the false trim on the rear quarter window I think it looks pretty good if not very long. I just wonder what demand there will be for this unless it is priced considerably below a 340i touring.
Usual inanity in the PH comments, I see. They talk about fast estates not being that rare and completely omit the brand most famous of all for making them. I did like the one with Hitler's Moustache Wax, though.
The original shooting brakes were, unsurprisingly, designed to carry people to a shoot on a country estate, but then were adopted as a utilitarian alternative to the main car for when His Lordship was 'in the country'. Often built on a quality chassis, such as Rolls-Royce, the true originals tended to have a two door body style with a crew bus configuration in the back (sideways facing bench seats), with the later country estate car for use on the country estate being a five door configuration.
