They had quilted leather seats too. So did Jimmy Savile. When he was 8 a mate of mine sat on Savile's knee and gave him a cigar for a photo op for the local paper. Since the whole Savile thing came out he's just referred to among ourselves as "the abused". We've almost forgotten what his real name is. Neighbour has a plumbing business and his new van has the plate: A G45 TAP

Blah blah BRM on a Rover 200 BRM. I thought 200 BRM was alright in its time.

Not sure if gittish or not, but on my way through Knutsford today I saw:
AV14 TOR
On a bland soft roader of some kind, possibly a Hyundai.
I'm guessing they were a pilot.

M C07ON C.
I suspect the surname is Coton, but all I could see was Colon. Doubly so as he was an overtaking lane owners' club member, fully paid up.

I take it the Ford is moving, rather than taking 'approximate parking' to new lows?

I recognise the roundabout ! Burpham; Sainsbury's is a bit further on, MJA is to the right and Aldi is on the immediate left.

Not necessarily gittish, although it was misspaced: GA5 8 GAS on a van for a local gas supply company. Say it in a West Country accent...

Didn't love her enough to buy one with an engine worthy of the name, then?

Surely an arsehole like that could be expected to have the car festooned with M badges as well? I'm almost dispappointed.

I imagine some will just go for the car rather than then engine per se, the expensive plate (?) may be an attempt to overcome the engine/image issue. If you like the car and with the draconian speeding laws, how much difference can such performance make?

Neighbour has a plumbing business and his new van has the plate: A G45 TAP Must be G45 TAP surely? Saw two Land Rovers on a drive the other day. The plates were MO0 4 MLK and MO0 2 MLK. Guess they work in the dairy business...

New Audi Q7 parked outside Tesco in Guildford where it shouldn't have been (pick-up area only IIRC)
MR 07 XXL all that was missing was a bit of tape to make the "0" look like a "Q"

Insignia yesterday:
OP11 MUM, with 2 cunningly placed screws next to the first 1 to make it look like a T.
It wasn't even a VXR, so hardly optimum.
