So having been the buyer of one (if not THE) of the first 323i E46s in the UK I’m probably sadder than I should be at seeing this particular car go. Even as a £1600 used buy in 2014 it’s been comfy, generally noise free and ran silently. It’s had one new battery, some tyres and some brakes plus new shocks at the front. The a/c was always ice cold and aside from the electric window motors it’s held up its reputation as representing the best built BMW ever made (E46s) We’ll never have another so it’s goodbye for ever. W2.1 was at home to take these final photos.

Still a high watermark for BMW, along with the E39.
Aside from the economy not measuring up to the Saab, I'm loving my E46.

I still see them regularly and would love to get another. There’s a ton of 330i’s near me that would be a lot of fun. That particular M3 was also a peach.
