Well it's certainly different at the front:
www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/2020-jaguar-f-type-revealed-revised-looks-no-v6-engine
I don't dislike it in any way, but I'm not sure the new face is as distinctive as the original design. The overall front end reminds me at the front of the Maserati GranCabrio I drove in Italy a couple of months ago.
Intrigued to see what the new "entry level" V8 is like. I thought JLR had a new straight six - surprised not to see it here.

It looks ok, at least they haven't turned it into a 5 door electric car!
From the front 3/4 I'm seeing a bit of Audi TT in the lights and relationship to the grille.

I made the same comment on a US Instagram car page and the yanks gave me grief saying they couldn't see the resemblance. I'll soon see one in the flesh, but it looks a trifle less exciting. Interior looks great though, new TFT dials really helps, proper HVAC controls and some lovely looking physical buttons. Well done Jag on that, beats the 911 interior for me

Interior is fine, the exterior otherwise, the front looks incoherent to me, front 3/4 is ok but not exactly interesting imho.

I had to Google the old one to compare the fronts. I think I prefer the new one - it manages to look lower and wider. A bit TT around the headlights but none the worse for that.

The new front definitely makes the car look lower and wider than the old front and looks good to my eye. Personally, I'd rather they went back to the oval grille for their sports cars, but guess that corporate image trumps individual design these days - just like every other manufacturer. The new dials are much better than the old ones. I think the HVAC controls are all unchanged, but the screen is bigger.
I read that the straight 6 does not fit, hence the need for the lower powered V8. THat 444hp V8 in RWD will probably be the sweet pot of the range.
I see the SVR has departed, but that the R now has all the SVR stuff of 576hp and AWD at less cost and joy of joys, minus that fuckling awful rear spoiler which never had any place being on the back of a Jag.

I think the front end clean up makes it look much more modern but at the end of the day it is still a very good looking car.

I really like it, it’s a positive change.

To me... it no longer looks distinctive from the front, it no longer looks like it is a Jaguar.

Of all the things I would have changed on the F-type, the exterior is not one of them.
Digit dash and binnacle aside, all I can see that’s different is some new style climate control knobs, again something that I wouldn’t have been in a rush to change.
Still, although you can hardly call it a bargain, the P450 starting at £69k has a big impact on VFM
I hope I can swap my P380 for a four paw P450

I thought Jag were going to be using a BMW V8 or am I mistaken ? Is that coming later?

If so I can't find it... I saw a new F Type at an airport last week, and while it's still fine, I think I preferred the old one... a RWD "R" remains a dream car to own at some point... I still absolutely love the 5 SC engine, its just perfect, especially with the ZF 8 speed. Evo seemed to quite like the 450. I did not think we would see any more NA 5.0 engines, presumably Ford agreed to build them but won't build the 3.0 any more?

The 450 is a SC not NA engine isn't it?

Yep - the 450 is a detuned version of the 575ps supercharged unit. Word on JLR street is that it's very healthy for " only " 450ps and it still sounds unhinged when you put it into dynamic mode.
Link kindly posted by Martin above.
I've had it almost 6 months now and I love it to bits.

Bet you do!
Went to remind myself what I said about the V6 S F-Type coupe when I was kindly given the keys to one for an hour or so in Suffolk a few years ago, but the report must be too old to be on here. My recollection is that I loved everything about it except for the engine (which was fine but I felt better suited to a sports saloon than an out-and-out sportscar) and the pitiful boot space. And I recall the salesman at Marshalls Jaguar in Ipswich telling me, upon hearing that feedback, that I was the sort of customer for whom the V8 versions were designed...

That looks like Ford's Magnetic, which has the amazing ability to make anything painted that colour become 25% more attractive!

Eiger grey? If so, it’s available on all the JLR range.

That is Silicon silver with the black pack
It's also a P450 R-Dynamic and not an R.
Same colour as my current RRS and my previous XF sportsbrake and the diesel S saloon before that.
I love that colour.

I listened to the autocar bloke do a review and he was a bit girly imo, got to see the Sutters review which was more like it. The v8 sounds pretty good.

It's much lighter than that
In fact - there is a 2 month old M5 on the next street which is almost the same colour. Dependant on the light, it's a sandy gold, or a golden syrupy silver.
Either way, it looks the nadgers and it's the best colour ever for ease of keeping clean.

That's Rhodonite Silver at a guess.
I like warm greys and silvers.......I must be getting old...slippery slope to that beige electric Volvo!
I always wanted a Z4M coupe in Sepang Bronze.
