It's a clever bit of design because from the front 3/4 and rear 3/4 shots it looks compact and small, like it might be Macan-sized.
Only side-on do you realise that it's much bigger/longer.
Agreed. We saw one of the promo "disguised" ones the M6 earlier this year and from the rear and rear 3/4 it did look more compact than it actually is.

Apart from them both being of a similar colour scheme I'm not really seeing them as that similar. If the Ford was lowered it'd have an almost Alfa Sud profile which is odd as the front in that shot reminds me of the Stelvio. How embarassing, I thought the top car was the Jag iPace!! It'd be interesting to compare the DBX with the Stelvio from side on though.

The Stelvio looks a lot smaller...

It's about half the size The side view of the front 20% of the DBX appears very reminiscent of the Macan.

So from this we can infer only one thing it seems. That all "sporty" SUVs look the same from the side.

I read a similarly positive review from Evo earlier, but not sure what to make of their statement that it's the best car Aston make!
Most pictures have awful interior colour schemes, I'm sure it could be made to look a lot better. Still last generation Mercedes tech, but that's better than several generations newer than anything Aston used to put in the car.

Money no object I think its the SUV I'd buy over anything else. The backs a bit ugly but very much like the rest.

With Daniel Craig playing an ageing 007 I wonder if the DBX is just away of giving him something with a higher hip point for his creaking joints?

I tried to configure one but it crashed and kicked me out. No prices, but judging by the number of things you can add, it won't be too difficult to get it close to £200k.
The 'un-optioned' model is £1,495 a month with a £36,000 deposit.....that's £90k to own one for 3 years and 30,000 miles, a bit out of my budget.

Better? Still not loving that dash design.

Better? Still not loving that dash design. Me neither as there is too much going on, but it does look a lot better than the full caramac. At first I thought it had uncovered cup holders which I really hate, but looking at a couple of pictures I can see that the armrest slides forward to cover them. So that's something.

I don't like the two tone steering wheel. I'd prefer it to be black with a matching hub and column.

Saw a black on on the road earlier today - not up close so didn't get a sense of the size but it certainly caught the eye and I find it far better looking than the Bentley & Lambo offerings and initial reviews are very positive. Harry Meaden has done a typically good review on his channel.

I think it looks good on the outside, and it sounds great to drive, but the interior is piss poor. I prefer the Stelvio!

Getting good reviews everywhere. Those gear selector buttons would have me trading it in within a week!

Who has copied who's homework?? Is the top one a real car? How does one get in and out of it?

The top one is the Ford Mustang Mach-E. I've never noticed the absence of door handles before.

I knew it was the Mach E, but assumed it was a concept version. Wrong. The car doors are opened using a pushbutton TVR styley.

As I wrote that I sat here thinking - somethings not quite right - but being a lazy sod I couldn't be bothered to quickly check - lol

The DBX is deceptive to look at. If you asked me how big it was I'd have said smaller than its competition. But apparently it's longer than a FF Range Rover.

Lots of room inside. Back seats have plenty of space and it has a big boot.
