No idea myself but one of the locals has a Lotus 1-11 I have only seen on a trailer and an i-8 that goes nowhere.

It's not like for like in any way, but I thought of the £75k + that people will need to pay up for an M2 CS when I saw in the Jag dealer yesterday that they had a brand new run out FG to the hilt XJ 3.0 diesel for sale at £55k (original list price £73k). Mind you, in 3 years time, the XJ will be worth 55p and the BMW still quite a lot.......

£75k plus upgrade cost for a track car. Who are all these wealthy types that can spunk large amounts on something they can rarely use? And have the risk of writing off 75K in an off track excursion.

More in some cases, I had an email from the broker we bought the Golf from, a £70k list price 730d can be had for £42,700! That’s the cost of the awful grille.

CarWow sent an email earlier in the week with M3 & M4s (can't remember if they were the Competition ones or not) for 24% off. So you could get into one of those for a lot less than the M2 CS.

It’s not a surprise as it’s soon to be replaced, but £2,500 down and £599 a month is very good value.

Well, having just heard that the new 4 does actually have the horrific grille from the concept version, a manual convertible Competition suddenly looks very appealing!

That's a bargain. Where do I sign I don't see any mention of mileage on the M4 offer?

That's a bargain. Where do I sign I don't see any mention of mileage on the M4 offer? Contract mileage of 8,000 per annum and an excess mileage charge of 13.64p per mile.

Er, that M2 at £469 a month looks a bit too interesting. Is that everything in or do you reckon theres a bit more left on the table to do a deal?

Rybrook is offering 4.9% APR whereas Lister and Stratstone are going with 2.9%. I see that! Eastern BMW in Edinburgh are also at 2.9% and they had an orange one last week. It's strange about the apr because that is normally a manufacturer finance item that can't be changed.

Mine too, black as a second choice. Likewise. I almost like the silver, but not quite - it looks too much like pearlescent white in some lights.

Another who very much likes the orange and would also gladly go light silver if it had some nice carbon bits to pop it a little better.

I like the off set white/silver Joe Achillies has. It seems a cracking deal, and the milage would be fine for me.

Good luck with the house - I hope you manage to get it. It's a good time of the year though with buyers falling away as they prepare for Christmas and lose interest in moving until the Spring.
