I see that Mercedes are talking their abilities down quite dramatically for Mexico but I am pretty sure they will be there or thereabouts come the chequered flag. It seems to be a race by race dampening of one's own abilities from either Ferrari or Mercedes which is then shown not to be the case when it comes to the race.

A race lost rather than won, not sure about the near incident between Lewis and Max but they both lost a bit there. The later incident with crashjean (I think it was him) was a bit if impatience imho but I really thought Max had the pace to win that one. I did wonder if the yellow flag incident was to avoid drafting the red cars into an advantage for turn one to two.
