A different garage and not far from home. I still get the heebie jeebies when I go to a new place so the first service/job is a bit nervy.
Well I got reasonable vibes from this place, a bit expensive but not sure what the current price would be for a basic service. Less the vat £150 is about the same as last time out with labour being the major player and oil £20 for 3 litres.
I found the folk there to be pretty bleepin' decent tbh.
Meandered about there, sorry.

Just something for those in the know, 1.08% CO, good, not so good? I know but the engine is essentially a bit long in the tooth.

I have looked at the MOT test certs for the 435D and there is nothing mentioned for CO2 but the V5 for the M5 shows the exhaust emissions for CO (not CO2) as 0.206 |

In which case, as long as the motor runs smoothly, isn't burning oil andshowing blue smoke, or losing any fluids, I reckon it's absolutely fine. |

The monoxide levels for 92 (1/8/92 until 1/8/95) was 3.5% so Bess comfortably beats that. Suggests the additives I chucked in recently to clean up the fuel supply system, jets etc worked out OK. I might just be talking out of my ar5e though. I shall see how their attempt at the timing was when I do a longer run in a little while. I got this from a DVSA in service emissions standards pdf I found late last night.  |

Yes, it seems there are a great deal who think they are doing us a favour ripping us off and WE should be grateful they don't apply the barbed wire cucumber too.
