It does look a bit too much like a Kia Stinger for me.
I prefer the 6GC by miles.

Looks like a Mercedes with BMW face-grafting.

I'm sure we will get used to it but it is nowhere near as attention grabbing as the 6GC was and still is.

I think the 6GC has dated terribly over the last year, used to be my favourite BMW, especially as an M6 competition, Non starter though as you have to be under 6ft to fit in the back,
I quite like the 8GC, but it doesn’t wow me and I was a bit disappointed by the coupe I sat in last week. It’s not good when the X7 feels like a higher quality product than a £100k+ M850i.

I quite like the duck-tail big spoiler on some of them but otherwise there's just way to much going on at the back.
I think the Merc-alike look is partly emphasised by the triangle of sheet metal behind the rear door but above the belt line

It does look like the grille is on upside down. It's just another BMW, does nothing for me.

I think the 6GC has dated terribly over the last year, used to be my favourite BMW, especially as an M6 competition, So has the 4GC objectively-speaking. The design is still sleek and elegant, but it just doesn't have the latest designs and tropes that mark-out the most recent models.
Dated or not, the 6GC's still one of the few BMWs that's a looker in my books. I didn't find the cabin dated in the last late-model one I sat in, thanks to a digital dash and up-to-date iDrive.

Amazingly it’s a full 2 generations behind inside now (with a couple of tweaks in between) but having spent a decent amount of time with the latest interior, that’s not a bad thing!

The M6 Competition version. Easily the best looking new BMW you can buy today, which is damning with faint praise I know, but I do really like it.

I like that photo too, much better than the early ones which showed some odd angles on lighter coloured cars. Still not as pretty as the 6GC though. It might be a colour sensitive shape.
