That is an incredibly successful modification. The only thing made with a BMW badge on it I want.

I reckon that would work quite well in silver with the chrome grille.
I couldn't make my mind up whether to have it on the turbine wheels or the MG Maestro ones......

Still got the naff stripes I see.

Still got the naff stripes I see. Yes, they’d have to go but otherwise I really like that and would be happy with either Alpina Green or Blue.

Alpina have sprinkled their magic fairy dust on a 3 series to make it way, way more desirable than the donor car. Again.

There is a green RHD B5 Touring with a tan interior on the Collecting Cars auction site for those of you with a green and tan Alpina estate bent.

If I had the time and money, I would be seriously interested in that, especially at/around the current bid price.....

Lovely, lovely. Although is that one wearing different alloys on each side?? It seem to be. Sensible way of demonstrating two looks, I suppose. They can keep the 'Dynamics', however; they look so naff compared to the Turbines.

Hmmm. I have an inkling for a B3, or maybe even a D3 as W2.1 is n't interested in driving at all so we could go to one family car that she'd actually drive once in a blue moon (so 3-series sized) and something else. The theft of the motorcycle and the psychological effect it has had on me (allied to the new contract being in the City so the drain is sensible enough) is seriously making me consider swapping the Gorilla. But I drove it at Prescott last week and it's still just awesome so maybe not yet..... The new B3/D3 Touring does look like the best thing on wheels though: especially so with the stripes

^ Last time I checked, although there were photos of the new B3 on Alpina's website there was no info on speccing or pricing :-(
