Can I just ask how the bonus question will work if 10th place is 1 lap behind?

Ah... I have clarified, something like lapped once, or +1 lap (or +2 laps etc etc)

So Ocon will be at Renault for 2020 and Bottas remains at Mercedes for 2020. I wonder if the relief will show in his driving at Spa this week-end?

Apparently Marcus Ericsson will step into one of the Sauber/Alfa Romeos for Spa. Not sure who he'll replace though, Kimi or Antonio.

There was a risk that Kimi wouldn’t be fit to drive, but he’ll be in the car tomorrow.

So whats happening to the Hulk if Ocons going to Renault? Hung out to dry unless he can get a seat at Williams.

I think we must be underestimating how quick Daniel Ric is. Hulk has blown the doors of most his teammates and now Riccardos come in and in half a season has given him the sack.
They didn't put Ocon in at Merc because they were worried Hamilton would destroy him I can't help but think Riccardo will do the same at Renault.

He would be much better than Crashjean so why not? The car is not exactly terrible either.

If I were Haas, I would replace Grosjean with Hulkenberg. Hulkenberg still has life in him, they need a cool character like him that just gets the job done, with no hysteria or meltdowns. I can see why Renault decided to hire Ocon, with Hulkenberg you sort of know what you'll get. If Renault are to become championship contenders, they need someone with better qualifying speed and a ruthless ambition to win. Hulkenberg really should have been hired by a top team about 9 years ago, that didn't happen.
It was interesting watching Albon yesterday. He was evidently more confident in the car than Gasly ever was, even if there was too much understeer. But Verstappen was suffering from the same reluctance to turn in.
I think that qualifying v race pace is going to be a different story at the front. Which is how it should be, you need to watch the race to see what happens!

Current speculation is that The Ham crashed due to a puncture from debris from Gasly's mirror that "fell off".
Unfortunate timing to go into the barriers, but at least he appears to be unharmed

I think that Max's ego got the better of him today which is why he flatters to deceive. He has HUGE talent but his head is just not in the right space all the time. That move was never going to come off he should have bided his time for later in the lap. Rookie error and he IS team leader. Alex on the other hand was sublime. What a job with tyres past their best to hold off Hamilton, Mr Leclerc did good today.

After what they witnessed on Saturday, anyone who got back in a racing car on Sunday deserves... I don't know what. A medal doesn't really cut it. Ocon, Leclerc, Gasly and Hubert started out in karting together, and Gasly especially looked devastated.
I didn't know Anthoine Hubert, was only peripherally aware of him before Saturday, but I have friends who did. A lot of people in motorsport are suffering right now.
The sight of thousands of spectators on their feet applauding on lap 19 was one of the most moving things I have ever seen. I don't mind admitting that I joined them from my living room.
A horrible weekend, but the show went on and produced a fine race. And the right winner.
