Just had a leasing e-mail through from Britannia for a 2 year deal - £3149.91 + VAT up front, £349 + VAT/mth for 23 mths and 8,000 miles. I make that about £559/mth for 2 years which doesn't seem too bad.

Yes I've seen something similar in my inbox direct from Tesla.

I got to sit in one at Silverstone Classic I much preferred it to the model S (which I didn’t mind) , and felt very well put together . I also really like the look of it

I don't like that the only interior options are white pleather with a white dash strip or black pleather with a blonde wood dash strip. Neither appeals greatly. Nor does the lack of an opening sun roof and no proper hatchback. Apart from that I like it.

Hadn't realised that the interior options were as limited as that. Like Andy, I sat in one at Silverstone Classic, and like him, I also liked it. And you can play video games on that big screen thingy.

The CFO of my company has been talking about leasing a car for use as we are traveling a lot more frequently now than before. She’s a big Tesla fan- has the 6 seater- and has mentioned getting me a Model 3. I’m not convinced by them yet. They’re not a bad car, but when I’m facing a drive of 200 miles on a Monday morning, I want to know I can get from work to wherever I need to be that evening. Superchargers are all over the Bay Area but still aren’t anywhere as close as I’d need them to be. The problem is still ease of charging. You can fill up a normal car at most corners, but an electric car?...
It’d make you wonder why the oil companies haven’t jumped on pay as you go electric too.

You should insist on the long range Tesla 3 if she wants to go that route.

I don't think I could live with the infotainment system. Everytime I see one of these in any car, it always reminds me of the ticket machines fitted to the buses I used to drive.

Had a coffee last week with one of the lawyers in our clean energy team and he mentioned that he'd just ordered a Tesla 3 on this (or a similar) leasing deal. Seems pleased.

I’ve seen two on the M6 this evening. The proportions are strange and I was alongside one for a while in the roadworks and it looks very ‘jiggly’.

I saw a white one at the weekend and it looked like a bar of soap. While I think that BMW, in particular, have gone OTT with styling flourishes on the current range I think the Teslas are just too bland.

The Tesla 3 does absolutely nothing for me and I too think its proportions are very odd.
