So the replacement for the Volvo was supposed to arrive on Wednesday, that was until they scratched it getting it out of the car park, so it doesn't arrive until Tuesday (more later). In the meantime, they've hired me this:-  A GLE 350d AMG Line, which is really rather nice. |

That's hideous! How are you, mate? It is rather aggressively styled for a 4x4, although the wife & kids loved it. Drove alright, but the ride was a bit brittle on sport and too soft on comfort - my Volvo rode better to be honest. Felt a LOT bigger than the Volvo though. I'm doing alright mate - haven't had a treatment for a while and the steroids have given me an appetite again - could do without the acne though, I didn't have this many spots a 14, let alone 42! Just waiting for the next scan and what follows next. If the redionucleide shit has stopped the growth of the tumors, then it's likely that I'll get 9 months to a year off before the next set of treatments before the cycle repeats itself again - 9 months of treatment, year off, 9 months of treatment, year off, 9 months yadyadayadayada ad infinatum. Hey ho, shit happens. |
