Grosjean has managed to crash in the pitlane. Gasly fastest in FP1. Great quote from the Beeb.

Who on earth is the bloody warbler? Chronic rendition of the NA, how can anyone book such a disaster?

One of the best races for a very long time. Vettel is seriously imploding, especially when Max is involved EJ talking nonsense at level 10. Why would Lewis go to Ferrari and why on earth would Merc want Seb?
McLaren to have Merc engines also raised a chuckle or two.

I know that the race was on Channel 4 but I was quite literally watching paint dry (after applying it) and I think I had a more exciting time than watching the race. Says a lot about the state of modern F1 ........

Perhaps I'm just getting old and having to cope with too many other (mainly bad) issues in my life to be able to enjoy F1 (or anything much) at the moment.
Anyway.... from the BBC: "He (Bottas) would have had fresher tyres, but the fact Hamilton was able to do fastest lap at the end of the race on hard tyres with 32 laps on them, beating a time Bottas had just set on the softs, rather suggests his team-mate would not have caught him."

Fantastic race, Vettel needs to go at the end of the end of the year, get Ricciardo in to replace him.
Bottas looked utterly dejected when being interviewed in the pen after the race; irrespective of the safety car, Hamilton would have still won this though.

Ricciardo at Ferrari would a, piss off Max and b, make it harder to pass the red cars in future. Result.

Related to the race:
Apparently Brawn GP were so strapped for cash that Jenson drove the same chassis throughout the entire season and only 3 cars were ever built
