Weird how Jackie Forster seems like an English name, but she doesn't seem to know how to write in it.

Probably Jackie Forster of the Bengall Forsters. Or she works in a call centre and has the name Javeed somewhere on her passport.

Sitting in my back garden yesterday afternoon and noticed a large cloud out west. Realised it is not due to rain, but a fire had broken out. Then the local regional airport, that I live about 4 miles from, had massive fire planes taking off every few minutes for the next 3 hours. The fire was 50 acres at 3:30pm, 1000 acres at 4:30pm, 7000 acres at 7:30 pm. At 7am, it had grown to 15000 acres and was 0% contained. This afternoon it’s at 27000 acres. Gives you an idea as to how fast they spread. Thankfully, it’s moving away from us but sadly, 3 people have been killed by it. Not this, by any chance? Looks scary

I tried the remote fuel burning heater this morning, it wasn’t that cold (7c), but I was leaving at 6am thought I’d try it to make sure it worked. It does work and not only did it mean the car was warm despite only switching it on 10mins before leaving, but it meant that warm air was blowing as I drove off. It’s gong to be great when it gets cold. Also tried the heated seats and steering wheel, both work super quickly and I had to switch the seats to cool as it got too hot too fast on level 3.....

Mines not as fancy as yours, it just works off a timer, but it's well worth having. Frost free windows are another delight you can look forward to.

Unclean? Will know in a couple of days... Symptoms or been identified through track and trace? Symptoms and W was sent home from school with similar symptoms. I am 99% sure it doesn't have any connection with Xi Jinping, but went along out of curiosity as much as anything. Booked the test this morning, drove 30 miles to Worcester and only had two cars in front of me. Easy peasy.

The wife and our youngest had a test the other weekend but it was just a cold, as I fully expected it to be. The main annoyance was having to self isolate for three days waiting for the test results. You cant even go for your daily exercise and our food delivery was mixed up due to someone with the exact same surname choosing the exact same delivery slot!

Unclean? Will know in a couple of days... Just been myself thhis afternoon to Bishop Auckland for a test. Find out tomorrow. Lost all sense of taste and smell, but I think it's just a head cold. We will see. People on the adjacent table to us in the pub on Friday tested positive and are now in full isolation. We didn't have any contact with them other than to talk to them across a suitable socially distant gap, so who knows?

Good luck Mark - not that anyone does but you certainly don't need Covid in your life.

Sinuses are clearing (hot toddy helped massively) so I suspect its a head cold that the track and trace app panicked about when I inserted symptoms.

Well, it's official - I'm diseased. Lindsey has cold like symptoms too so we are both self isolating.
My symptoms appeared Monday, so in theory, another 8 days to go, but I will probably give it a bit longer.
Good job I did a two week shop on Monday when I found out about our friend's results, although we didn't class as a contact when I checked.

A nice letter from Germany dropped on the mat this morning with a photo of Mrs Tim and a request for 25 euros to cover a minor speeding indiscretion while we across there in July.
Does this gain her any sort of licence endorsement?

I don't think so, minor enough for the slap on the wrist treatment or you would have been told by now, Shirley.

Does this gain her any sort of licence endorsement? I don't believe so.... this is one reason that new car launches are rarely if ever held in the UK, because journalists being caught speeding would have their licences endorsed here, but in the rest of Europe it's basically a fine and that's it.
