I can still remember hearing the sad news of his fatal accident on the car radio when out with my dad somewhere.
(A marshall ran across the track in front of his car and IIRC he was killed by the impact with the marshall's fire extinguisher).

The marshal was a teenager IIRC and almost cut in two and Pryce was virtually decapitated by the impact. The car kept going until it reached the next bend.

Just to clarify my point. Marshal's are trained to a much higher standard now and the loss of both lives is down to poor oversight at the time. Marshal's put themselves in harms way and that enables the motorsport we watch to continue, the loss of the marshal is just as tragic as the loss of the driver
