Happens to us all. Bus goes into box junction; you can’t see the obstacle in front of it (in this case another bus) so you end up stopped in a yellow box junction. I assume TfL sent the requisite fine notice. 2014 cayman 0 60

That is really funny. The rule clearly states that you should not enter the box unless your exit is clear. So even if he was following the bus and could not see the blockage, he (or she) is still in the wrong.

It’s one of the nightmares of driving in London because the logic is that you don’t enter the box until the car in front has cleared it sufficiently that there is space for you to go yet try doing this and someone less vigilant in the lane. Ext to you pulls into the space instead leaving you as the one stuck in the box!

Oops. Letter in internal mail I reckon.
There's a box junction near us that you have to enter in the rush hour, as the adjoining junction it sits across always has a queue waoting to enter. If you leave the box clear then joining cars jump in and you'd never move. It needs traffic lights.
