Grille looks OK on a top of the range M135i for some reason and then you see it on a white pauper spec one and the illusion is undone. I don't know how many will remember in the 70's there was a trend amongst the custom car brigade to graft on a grille of a different car (often to make it a RR look alike) - that photo reminds me of that - it's as if someone's taken a Kia Cee'd and grafted on the BMW grille!

I don’t! If it was a VW approved, warranty protecting upgrade then I would, as another 50hp would be nice, but it isn’t. Other, more experienced VAG tuning companies are up around the 370-380hp with stage 1 tuning. Crazy how quick an R can be with a bit more power, Mountune quote 3.7sec to 60mph with 360hp and it’s not that expensive to get it up to 400+ and a low 3 sec time. Wouldn’t lose many TLGPs. Ah - I thought it was like mine and manufacturer approved .im sure I read somewhere it was but their website does say only a years warranty through them. Shame.

Aren't they branching out because they've lost their official Ford tunership?

Ironic really. Everyone has always bashed Ford for making cars less special than BMW. And then BMW go and copy the Focus for the new 1-er. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Of those photos, I'm not even sure I can identify what the 4th one is. Hyundai?

In a similar vein it occurred to me this morning, while following a white 1 series along the local country road at 30mph, that in the good old days you'd never be held up by a BMW. Now they're just driven by anybody who can get finance.

I like the statement about "multiple users".... in other words, some of our used cars may have been with a rental company as their previous "owner" I’ve noticed most retailers cover themselves with this statement now. When the car has been leased to a company instead of an individual, they have to use that statement to cover themselves. For many cars there may only be one driver even where leased by a company.

But the picture is a Ceed, for the sake of absolute clarity.
