I had no idea it was their best-selling model. I quite like the look of them but rarely see one around, although that said, the colleague who sits next to me has one.
She's not amused. She likes it as a car a lot but it has broken down again (sound familiar?) and she says that the customer service from their local LR dealer in Kent is, apart from giving them a 11 day old full-fat Range Rover as a substitute this time around, absolutely terrible.
They also have a B-Class and she commented that the quality and customer service from Mercedes is leagues better.

Don't most of them have some failing rear light bulbs?
A 65 reg one was parked next to me yesterday and as I was getting into my car it started up. It sounded as if every heat shield on the car was rattling, I could hear the noise even around the back wheel.

Out here in the sticks, Disco Sports are plentiful. I suspect the Evoque is more common down your way? We know a few people with Disco Sports and they all love them. I suspect that unless you tow a lot or need 7 full seats a lot, they do most of what a Disco 5 would do as a family vehicle, at a lower price point. This looks like a good upgrade.

A colleague at work has a white one which she loves. However, she likes the Range Rover courtesy cars she gets when they are trying to repair hers more.

Of course, being an updated Discovery Sport, this was significant enough to be on the front cover of last weeks Autocar. When the new Defender comes out.....

Apparently so, the chassis rails are significantly different to allow for electrification.
